  • FAQ

How often should I use All Calm?
Apply All Calm™ once a day as the last step in your skincare regimen and just before foundation. Apply Sunforgettable® Brush-on Sunscreen SPF 50 every two hours for continued coverage and optimal results.
Can All Calm™ be applied to eyelids?
Yes, All Calm™ can be used on eyelids, and anywhere redness appears. However, avoid getting the product in your eyes.
How many pumps do I need in order to achieve SPF 50 coverage?
Apply 1/2 pump of All Calm™, spreading evenly over the entire face for full SPF 50 coverage.
Can I wear All Calm™ with a primer?
You do not need to use a separate primer when using All Calm™ as it is formulated to correct redness and even the skin in preparation for makeup application.
Can I make All Calm™ even lighter on my skin?
To prevent All Calm™ from feeling thick or “cakey” at the end of the day, ensure your skin is lightly moisturized prior to applying All Calm™. This will allow for more even applications.
    Is All Calm™ waterproof/sweatproof?
All Calm™ is not water or sweatproof. Use a water-resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating.
Can I use All Calm™ instead of other topical treatments recommended by my dermatologist?
Follow your dermatologist or skincare specialist’s instructions for using All Calm™ with other topical treatments they recommend. In general, All Calm™ is formulated to be complementary to prescription or other topical treatments.
What is the treatment in Even Up® and does it help with brown spots?
Even Up® has a patented formula called LUMIRA® which is a skin brightening complex. It’s highly effective and clinically tested to address the multi-phase pigmentation process that leads to the appearance of skin discoloration. Colored with iron oxides, Even Up provides immediate color correction of brown spots and hyperpigmentation and the ongoing benefit of addressing underlying causes.
Does All Calm™ come in multiple shades?
All Calm™ was designed to be one shade that universally neutralizes red tones in the skin. It is a corrective product that should be used based on skin concern (acne and rosacea) as a primer, rather than matching the skin color.
Can Even Up® and All Calm™ be mixed?
Formalized testing of a mix of Even Up® and All Calm™ has not been conducted. By using these products together, the color correction benefit would be largely compromised as the tints in each cancel each other out. The resulting mix would not provide the same correction as when used individually.
Is Even Up® safe to use on ablated skin?
We recommend following your physician’s guidance on the duration of time required to wait until the skin is re-epithelialized.
How is All Calm™ different from the Calming Perfector?
Although both products provide color correction, All Calm™ has subtle green undertones that instantly neutralize and balance redness. All Calm™ is formulated with the powerful BioSolace™ complex that provides ongoing relief from sensitivity and the appearance of redness. Lastly, All Calm™ contains a higher level of broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection (SPF 50 vs SPF 20).
Where does green tint come from?
The green tint is from chromium oxide. This green tint neutralizes redness.
    Is All Calm™ non-comedogenic?
Yes, All Calm™ is non-comedogenic. As with all Colorescience® products, All Calm™ is formulated without dyes, talc, synthetic fragrance, mineral oil, drying alcohols, and harsh chemicals.
Is All Calm™ gluten-free? Why is this important?
All Colorescience products are formulated without the addition of gluten or its derivatives. In addition, our products are 100% free from parabens, phthalates, synthetic fragrance, animal testing, talc, dyes, mineral oils, drying alcohols & chemical sunscreen. Those who have gluten allergies may experience sensitivity when using topical products.
    Is All Calm™ paraben-free?
Yes, All Calm™ is oil-free. As with all Colorescience® products, All Calm™ is formulated without dyes, talc, synthetic fragrance, mineral oil, drying alcohols, and harsh chemicals.
    Is All Calm™ oil-free?
The tint is from iron oxides. It is designed to instantly diffuse the appearance of skin discoloration and even skin tone.
Are Colorescience products safe to use while pregnant?
Colorescience strives to provide outstanding products that are efficacious while also safe for our consumers. For individuals with allergy concerns or women who are pregnant, lactating or planning to become pregnant, it is always best to check with your physician to advise on a list of what products/ingredients should be avoided and then cross-reference to our ingredient lists on our website. We always recommend double-checking with your physician to make sure there is nothing you have any heightened sensitivities to while pregnant.
Is this product compliant in the European Union?
Yes, this product is sold in the EU and meets EU requirements for sunscreens.
How do I activate All Calm?
To activate All Calm™, tap product 6-8 times with lid facing downward. Open the cap and pump roughly 20 times in order to get product flowing. Due to the product viscosity, allow a few seconds for pump to fully retract and for the formula to fill the dispenser.
When in a skin care regimen should All Calm be applied?
All Calm should be applied as the last step in your skin care regimen and just before foundation.
Do I need to “warm” All Calm™ for ease of application like I do with Even Up®?
All Calm™ has a slightly more lightweight texture than Even Up®, and therefore you may find that it does not need “warming” prior to application.
Can All Calm™ be applied to eyelids like Even Up®?
Yes, All Calm™ can be used on eyelids, and anywhere redness appears. However, avoid getting the product in your eyes.
Why is the color lighter when I first apply the product?
Occasionally, you may notice that skin looks light or pale upon first application of the product. This is normal and is due to the subtle green pigments which cancel the red and neutralize color in the skin, making it look somewhat pale initially. After allowing All Calm™ to develop and set for several seconds this will adjust and you can apply your favorite Colorescience® foundation, the Mineral Corrector Palette SPF 20 or Sunforgettable Brush On SPF 30/50 brush to restore skin’s color.
What do I do if it looks “cakey” on my skin by the end of the day
To prevent All Calm™ from feeling thick or “cakey” at the end of the day, ensure your skin is lightly moisturized prior to applying All Calm™. This will allow for more even application.
How many hours will the redness in my skin “stay away” during the day if I use All Calm™?
We have not performed formal wear/duration testing on this product, however, layering All Calm™ with other Colorescience® SPF products and compliance in reapplying your SPF coverage every two hours may help extend the wear.
Can I wear All Calm™ with moisturizer?
Yes, apply All Calm™ to lightly moisturized skin as the last step in your skin care regimen and just before foundation.
Can I wear All calm™ with a primer?
You do not need to use a separate primer when using All Calm™ as it is formulated to correct redness and even the skin in preparation for makeup application.
Is All Calm™ safe to use on ablated skin?
We recommend following your physician’s guidance on the duration of time required to wait until skin is re- epithelialized.
All Calm™ is not my color. Will Colorescience come out with additional shades?
All Calm™ was designed to be one shade that universally neutralizes red tones in skin.
Will Even Up and All Calm™ ever be in a dual pump?
There are no plans to combine these products in a dual pump due to their unique individual nature and the significant differences in how they address red or brown discoloration.
How is All Calm™ different from the Calming Perfector?

    BioSolace™ complex contains:
