Outstanding product formulation! I love it, gonna order more of ColoreScience products!
Love this spf, it’s matte but still has a beautiful glow. I get more compliments on my skin when I’m wearing this vs when I’m wearing make up!!
I absoluteky love colorscience products and have been using the original Total Shield SPF50 for quite a well. I really liked it but sometimes it felt a bit too shiny under makeup or after a few hours my face would shine. Hence, I thought the matte version would be great but nowhere was mentioned about the fact that the non-color one has actually color!!! I am light medium I would say and the color is orangey and way too dark for me! I tried to put makeup on top but still looks really bad and still shiny, not matte as advertised. I wish I knew about this before as if I wanted the colored one, I would have bought that one.
I have tried so many sunscreens all of them were chemical so this is my first time trying mineral sunscreen and I am in love with it. I have oily, acne-prone skin so other sunscreens were either greasy or left a dewy finish and because of that u could see my skin texture more which I didn't like, this sunscreen is so lightweight however it says its matte but its not drying matte which I love. It doesn't feel greasy and isn't shiny, it's water resistant so I will probably need to double cleanse. I was worried that this tinted sunscreen wont match my skin colour but it's the perfect match, I have golden olive skin. I wish it was more affordable but I will definitely be repurchasing and will be trying more of their products.
I’d like to say it seems like it was formulated for me because of how the tint is perfect for my skin colour (Olive skin) and how it is the least greasy mineral sunscreen I’ve ever used (I have oily, acne-prone and sensitive skin). It glides and blends so well on the skin that I don’t need to wear makeup over it. However, it has a tendency to sit in skin folds and I have a feeling it contributed to my recent breakouts. Also, reapplying it throughout the day eventually made it look like split foundation. Maybe it’s how oily my skin is. I managed it by patting my oily skin dry before reapplying the sunscreen. I will continue using it though, and I hope I can prove that it’s not the one breaking me out because I love the way it looks and feels on my skin. If I can do that, I will definitely buy again.
